- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Wells Fargo isn't a good banking system, better off choosing elsewhere. Back a few years ago, I was charged overdraft fees multiple times when my account hadn't overdraft. The teller told me the computer thought I would and that's why I was charged. He told me he could refund some of the overdraft charges, and I said I would like to close my account. He then tried to keep me from doing that since he would refund some of the fees. I was not swayed. This is a terrible bank. I closed my account but they still send me statements saying I have $1.00 in my account. I called and they said I didn't have an account when I asked them to stop sending me 'statements' What a waste of paper! I'm with chase now, love it!By Elizabeth Swager, May 09, 2017
