  If only you could give a negative rating... Where do I even start with this company? Our car loan is in my husband's name. It was when we had it through a different credit union in town, and we refinanced and had it switched to Partner's 1st for better rates. Almost always I am the one who pays the car loan even though it is in my husband's name. We have ALWAYS paid the full amount or more on or before the due date. NORMALLY when we come to pay our loan if I give them more than the amount of our loan they check and make sure I want the rest added to principal before hand. Last month when I came to pay on our loan I gave the teller (Brooke) more than our loan expecting change back. She disappeared before the tube even dropped. When it did come down I realized there wasn't change but didn't have time to ask her about it so I pulled up and ASSUMED (my fault for ASSUMING someone knows how to do their job these days) she added the rest towards principal. Since my name isn't on the loan, they will often give me a written receipt without the loan information on it. She did not give me a receipt and at the time I wasn't concerned about it because, like I said, I'm not on the loan and have never had an issue before. Then this month we find out that our payment last month shows we paid less than the full amount of our loan (which we would never have done) and not only that it did not forward our payment fully so we were technically behind. The teller that SHOULD have known how to do her job put that we gave her $21 less than our loan amount. Now, before I continue, if she were doing her job CORRECTLY if I gave her LESS than the loan amount she should have asked or made a comment about it. She WOULD have brought to my attention that I didn't have the full amount to pay our loan in full and in that case it wouldn't forward to the next month BUT she didn't. She didn't say anything. NOT ONLY DID SHE NOT SAY ANYTHING- SHE MARKED DOWN ON HER DENOMINATION LIST THAT I GAVE HER THE AMOUNT I ACTUALLY GAVE HER WHICH WAS $50 MORE THAN SHE LOGGED TOWARD OUR LOAN. So here is where we are at this point: The receipt (that I didn't get at the time I paid the loan but later received a copy of from the branch manager) shows that she received $30 MORE than our loan in the denomination section, yet she logged that I gave her $21 LESS than what our loan is. That is a difference of $51. So I go into the Jefferson branch, where all of this commotion occured to begin with, to talk to the branch manager, Jami Lambit. For the life of these people they cannot admit that they messed up. Not only that, their cameras don't go back far enough to check. So we were behind on our loan, even though I actually paid more than our loan and I even had to pay the difference. There is a receipt in front of their faces showing that she received more cash than she logged and they still say I must have gave her less than I thought. I still have the messages to my husband saying she didn't give me my change and I know that means nothing to them, but it proves that I did, in fact, give her more and expect to receive change but never did. Their response was that I must have not given her as much as I thought, even though the receipt shows that I did. At this point with them it was less about the $51 (now $72 because they made me pay another $21 to "catch up" from last month") and more about the way they are handling the situation. Jami proceeds to tell me that Brooke's drawer wasn't over at the end of her shift, which then becomes even more suspicious. If it wasn't in her drawer then where was it? Her pocket? Which is my best guess, but obviously that can't be proved. Even though the RECEIPT SAYS I GAVE HER MORE THAN OUR LOAN AND SHE DIDN'T EVEN PUT THE FULL AMOUNT OF OUR LOAN TOWARDS OUR PAYMENT. So after getting nowhere I decide to give up with her and call her supervisor Heather Beasley and she says the same thing. The rest of this review is posted on their Facebook page.
